Virtual Currency & In‑App Purchases Policy

Applies to The Rark on therark.com (New Zealand). Virtual items are for entertainment only.

1) Virtual currency and items

  • Our games may include virtual coins/credits and other virtual items (“Virtual Currency”).
  • Virtual Currency has no real‑world monetary value, is not legal tender, and cannot be redeemed, withdrawn, exchanged, or converted into cash or anything of value.
  • No cash‑out, no prizes, and no real‑money gambling outcomes are offered through Virtual Currency.

2) Optional purchases, pricing, and availability

You may optionally purchase Virtual Currency or bundles through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or another authorised platform. Availability, pricing, taxes, and any discounts are shown at checkout in your store account and may change over time.

3) Delivery

Purchased Virtual Currency is usually delivered immediately after the platform confirms payment. If delivery is delayed, first restart the app and check your store purchase history. If it still hasn’t arrived, contact us with your receipt/order ID.

4) Charges, subscriptions, and renewal (if offered)

  • Purchases are processed by your app store/payment provider, not directly by The Rark Limited.
  • If a subscription is offered, it will auto‑renew unless you cancel through your app store account settings before the renewal date. Renewal pricing and billing frequency are shown in the subscription screen/checkout.
  • We do not store your full payment card details when the transaction is processed by the platform.

5) Refunds and mistaken purchases

  • Refund eligibility and processing are handled under the terms of the store/payment provider used for the purchase.
  • Where applicable under New Zealand consumer law, you may have rights for faulty or misdescribed digital content; however, we cannot override platform refund decisions.
  • To request a refund, follow your platform’s refund flow and contact us if you need help locating order details.

6) Parental controls and spending safeguards

If you share a device, use device and app store parental controls, require a password/biometric confirmation for purchases, and review purchase settings regularly. You are responsible for activity on your account/device unless required otherwise by law.

7) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will be posted on therark.com.
